Grant Application Guidelines

Eligibility

Persons affected by Batten Disease and their
families are eligible to apply for a grant.  You need
to be a permanent Australian resident to be eligible
to apply.

Need

The need can be any purpose which will offer relief
to the persons affected and their families.  The scope
is wide enough to allow the Foundation to support
families with any need.  Examples include renovations
to the family home, relevant equipment, cost of
attending a conference, etc.

Size of Grant

There is no limit on the size of the grant being
requested.  Whether the application is successful will
depend on the financial resources of the Foundation
at the time and the possibility of successful
applications to other bodies for part funding.

and we will let you know.

Timing of the Grant

 We will endeavour to make payment of the grant
quickly.  This will depend on the need and also on
the size of the grant.  We will let you know the
estimated time frame on receipt of the application. 
Where the need is urgent, we will ensure that the
grant is made immediately.
